Position ́s objective:

This position is to supervise and manage the design team in the Southern hub Delivery engineering team.

This includes coordinating tasks, monitoring delivery, and assisting the designers to ensure timelines, engineering standards and quality requirements are maintained.


Main Responsibilities:

Planning and scheduling of drafting works to meet deadlines and continue to ensure on-time delivery.
Manage a team of designers across different physical locations.
Liaise with all relevant stakeholders with respect to drafting/engineering solutions and establish and maintain clear feedback and communication.
Design innovative solutions to industry requirements.
Prepare and submit updates (reports, spreadsheets, registers) as requested.
Attend meetings (toolbox, sales, safety) and provide input as appropriate.

To succeed, you will need:


Have a Mechanical Engineering background combined with at least 3 years of experience in bulk materials handling, mining associated design, mine maintenance or mechanical engineering.

You are proficient in Autodesk Inventor.
Strong communications skills in English, oral and written, and ability to plan and organize (required).
You have a flexible and cooperative team attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
You have a strong attention to details and ability to work independently and unsupervised.
