**About the role**

The Project manager takes under his/her responsibility the management of industrial projects in the whole LATAM region, from the conceptual process design through detailed engineering to the execution and start-up. Initially this role will have the responsibility of working in our Peruvian factory in Lima proposing and ensuring the implementation of improvements in terms of infrastructure and safety of the plant.

**Your Main Responsibilities**
- Delivers the projects in scope, budget and quality, with a strong focus on Safety.
- Defines project execution strategy.
- Issues the specifications according to customer requirement, analyse suppliers offers, participate to the supplier selection and contracts preparation in close coordination with Purchasing Team.
- Assesses and studies the different technical scenarios to define the most appropriate one. Brings engineering expertise when needed to minimize risks and ensure safe design. Checks compliance to established procedures or protocols, and challenges.
- Involves suppliers and plant team in detail engineering phases, safety design, factory acceptance tests, commissioning, final acceptance tests.
- Prepares steering committees for assigned projects.
- Follows the construction on site with strong focus for EHS.
- Ensures efficient project control and reporting, and takes corrective actions.
- Ensures (technical and managerial) coordination and communication among the project stakeholders.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will be / will have:

- Safety (process, occupational ) as your main priority when developing design and organizing/following construction work from the conceptual phase until start-up.
- Project Management degree/ certification plus relevant experience in the Engineering and Industrial Project Management field.
- Experience in Project Control and Reporting (EHS, Schedule and cost).
- Knowledgeable in Engineering disciplines (Mechanics, Electrical and Automation, Civil Works, Piping,).
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Pack and with MS Project. Basic use of CAD (Autocad®)
- Experience developing Execution strategies and project execution plans, mobilize and structure resource in different engineering fields and project supports.
- Skills to scrutinize solutions and propose optimized answers using technical-cost approaches.
- Strong analytical and synthetic oral and written communication.
- Problem solving, results-oriented and field presence.
- Fluent in English.
- It would be an advantage, though not essential if you also have:_
- PMP certification.
- Machine Functional Safety degree or course.
