**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Purpose of the job
This role is responsible for achieving sales, sales growth and profitability targets in Central America (Guatemala) territory. Responsible for managing all accounts in the territory and Identifies and acquires new accounts with significant growth and profit potential. The role maintains frequent face-to-face communication and establishes win-win relationships with new and existing accounts. The Sales Executive will be focused on identifying new business opportunities in the Central America (Guatemala) to be supplied from AFSA sites. He will work in close collaboration within AFSA sites teams (Supply Chain, Technical, Customer Service) to ensure the success onboarding of new business opportunities in the designated segments in addition to guarantee the business continuity and grow of the existing business.
Reporting to: Export Sales Manager

**Key Responsibilities**

**Develop account strategies for new and existing accounts**
- Search and Identify customers and business opportunities in Central America (Guatemala).
- Identify account needs and key buying factors beyond price.
- Assess account opportunities, account trends and define aspirations.
- Identify key decision makers and influencers beyond purchasing and develop close relationships with those decision makers.
- Be the conduit to develop multi-functional relationships between Amcor and core territory accounts.
- Develop and maintain action plans for how accounts will achieve targets and identify specific actions to improve earnings.
- Develop and maintain an account plan for each core account
- Develop and maintain an account file for each non-core account
- Maximise sales, sales growth and profitability of accounts in the territory

**Establish & maintain strong relationships and face-to-face communication with accounts.**
- Act as the direct, primary face-to-face contact with existing accounts.
- Establish strong, multi-level, win/win relationships with existing accounts. Focus is to:

- 1) Proactively identify new business opportunities
2) Maintain strong win/win relationships
3) Understand existing and future account requirements
4) Arbitrate between plants and customers when there are disagreements and/or issues with regard to issues such as quality, AR etc.
- Identify and align resources, action plans and communications required to execute account plans and resolve issues

**Prospect & Develop New Accounts**
- Actively prospect for new customers to develop the territory
- Establish strong relationships with prospects. Focus is to:

- 1) Proactively obtain and qualify leads
2) Develop and understand customer requirements, matching these to
the appropriate Amcor Value Proposition
3) Close new accounts

**Be the expert in the territory and of the customer**
- Provide quantitative and qualitative feedback on competitors
- Anticipate changes in the marketplace and account behaviour/needs
- and report to management

**Develop and execute negotiations and contracts**
- Develop, manage and execute contract negotiations with Direct Control
- Accounts
- Manage negotiations/resolution of product, quality, and service issues

**Forecasting, Budgeting and Reporting**
- Responsible for forecasting and budgeting sales activities by existing accounts and assure the completion of these targets
- Monthly reporting of the sales activity in the area
