**Position Overview**

As the Director of Production, you will report directly to the CEO and be a key member of our senior management team. This role is pivotal in leading and mentoring a young production department, managing client discovery calls, and driving projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with the COO, CTO, VP of AI, and other senior leaders to ensure exceptional service delivery while fostering a high-performance team environment.

This position demands strong leadership, technical knowledge, and bilingual fluency (English and Spanish) to manage client communications and guide production teams with clarity and expertise.

**General Responsibilities**
- **Support Sales and Marketing**: Provide resources and guidance to facilitate new business opportunities.
- **Communication and Leadership**: Manage client communications and mentor production teams by setting a positive example. Guide, mentor, and develop a young production team, fostering accountability, transparency, and curiosity.
- **Organization**: Maintain consistent communication and detailed reporting to track status, budgets, and deliverables.
- **Software Development Expertise**: Understand waterfall and Agile methodologies, as well as be willing to learn and master the company’s “5D process.”
- **Mobile Publishing Knowledge**: Familiarity with app publishing for iOS (Apple Store, Developer Program) and Android (Google Play, Google Developers Program).

**Sales and Client Engagement**
- **Self-Starter**: Proactively engage with potential clients and drive productive conversations.
- **Proposal Writing**: Draft proposals or direct team members to do so, using provided templates.
- **Contract Management**: Prepare and review Master Service Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), and change orders.
- **Functional Specifications**: Collaborate with creative, technology, and QA teams to compile Functional Specifications Documents (FSDs).

**Team Management**
- **Lead by Example**: Set a high standard for the team in conduct, work ethic, and professional communication.
- **Project Oversight**: Monitor and track project status across all teams, holding daily stand-up meetings and coordinating tasks.
- **Milestone Delivery**: Ensure timely completion of all deliverables and proactively address any issues or delays.
- **Budget and Invoicing Coordination**: Work with the VP of Operations and COO to review budgets vs. actuals, manage invoices, and escalate concerns when necessary.

**Creative Services**
- **Creative Process Knowledge**: Understand workflows from script development to flowcharting, wireframing, look-and-feel design, and prototyping.
- **User Testing**: Familiarity with user testing methodologies is a plus.

**Development Services**
- **Software Expertise**: Experience in software development and ability to coordinate technical tasks.
- **End-to-End Integration**: Solid grasp of how databases, backend services, and frontend interfaces interact, providing strategic oversight for a cohesive product experience.

**QA Services**
- **Test Planning**: Understand the creation of use cases, test cases, and automated/stress testing.
- **Alpha, Beta, Final Cycles**: Experience working with various testing phases, managing bug tracking, and collaborating with clients during QA.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- **Bilingual Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- **Office Software Proficiency**: Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Familiarity with Microsoft Project (or a willingness to learn).
- **Design & AI Tools**: Ability to work with Figma and an understanding of (or openness to learn) generative AI tools like OpenAI.
- **Leadership Experience**: At least five years in a verifiable leadership role.
- **Detail-Oriented and Efficient**: Demonstrate the ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality or accuracy.
