**What you can expect as a Senior Corporate Accounting and Finance Specialist** **at Preferred by Nature**:
As our Senior Corporate Accounting and Finance Specialist, you will lead the accounting process of our two companies in the region. Your professionalism, diligence, and sense of good governance will help you in preparing our bookkeeping documents and calculations, recording financial transactions in Preferred by Nature’s finance system, properly closing the monthly, quarterly, and annual booking, and playing a key role in the review and analysis of the financial statements. Finally, your communication skills, as well as your intercultural skills, will help you establish trusting relationships with internal and external partners in our operations across Latin America as well as the rest of the world.

**Your ability and willingness to learn and take on new tasks will play an important part in your first year with us, so here is what you can expect**:
**Within the first three months you will**:

- Use your general knowledge and good adaptation ability to quickly learn how to use our IT systems - Sales Force (operating system) and Finance Force (accounting system).
- Understand the nature and logic of all our transactions, checking expense reports, issuing sales invoices, making payments, and reviewing payroll.
- Prioritize all tasks according to tax, salary, and social contributions deadlines.

**Within the first six months you will**:

- Start booking transactions in two of our Latin American entities and review the tax and work papers provided by our external advisors.
- Manage the monthly and quarterly closing according to the local and group timelines.
- Have established good relations with stakeholders internally and externally, consulting on more appropriate implementation in current processes with the global team.

**Within the first year you will**:

- Work independently, lead and cover all accounting work in two Latin American entities and optimize the operations.
- Have all transactions booked in FinancialForce and consider using FinancialForce to replace the local accounting system if possible.
- Support the global team for the tax study and other tasks, if any.

**Important that you**:

- Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Possess strong background in corporate accounting (minimum 5 years’ experience).
- Possess keen attention to detail and are highly organized.
- Have excellent analytical and time management skills.
- Possess ability to complete projects on time with mínimal supervision.
- Have good communication skills and proven ability to speak articulately with internal staff and external accountants/advisors.
- Are adaptable and eager to acquire new skills.
- Are fluent in English - verbal and written.
- Have full proficiency in use of the MS Office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

**Would also be great, but not necessary, if you**:

- Possess thorough understanding/knowledge of corporate tax.
- Have experience with a global organization.
- Possess experience with annual statuary financial audit, annual tax calculation and transfer pricing.
