Posting Date: 21 Mar 2024- City: Lima- Location: Lima, PE- Contract Type: Permanent- Division: Marine Americas Region- Level of experience: SeniorRINA is currently recruiting for a **Marine Peru Operations Senior Surveyor** to join its office in El Callao, Peru within the Marine Americas Region Division.

**Mission**:
To conduct the assessment and inspection of ships and other marine structures during construction and in operation, ensuring compliance with Class requirements, statutory regulations, and any other applicable standards.

**Job Responsabilities**:

- Prepare and maintain technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and assessments.
- Perform routine inspections on classed ships, platforms, or other marine structures at manufacturing sites to ensure compliance with classification and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues on various projects and tasks.
- Work closely with senior professionals to gain practical experience in the field.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years experience in the engineering or inspection/survey fields with an IACS member Classification Society
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or similar.
- Significant experience in marine vessel or structure inspection.
- Strong knowledge of classification rules, statutory regulations, and related technical requirements.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the scope of classification, statutory certification, related services and, before assignment, with their future work.
