We are one of the world’s largest producers and marketers of copper with our mining operations and development projects in key mining regions of Africa, Australia, and America.

The role will be accountable for management and delivery of the Civil and Structural Engineering CPF for Antapaccay plant in line with Glencore Copper’s Project Definition Guidelines and Standards.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Lead the CPF (Coarse Particle Flotation) project in the planning execution and documentation of the project to support the completion of the Antapaccay CPF plant including:

- Civil and Structural Operation and Projects.
- Specialized technical advice
- Research and Development.
- Reporting & Analysis.
- Budget and Cost Control Management.
- People Management, guide, and mentor high performance teams.
- Safe and Healthy work environment.
- Prepare and guide the development of technical drawings, specifications of civil and structural to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and requirements.
- Manage civil and structural related contractors as part of the team to ensure zero harm to workers and mínimal damage to property.
- Identify any opportunities to cost management by technically assessing as for the “right investment” to achieve project goals.
- In-depth understanding of the quality, design and/or modification of the specific plant, equipment, or environment prior to the risk analysis.
- Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Participate in relevant safety audits, inspections and observations, and address issues as part of demonstrating safety leadership.
- Provide oversight and assurance on Group governance policies, procedures, and standards.

**About the profile**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
- 20+ years mining industry experience across mining operations, corporate engineering/consulting and major project studies.
- 12+ years of experience at large open cut metals mining operations.
- Significant capability in running electrical technical services.
- Experience in developing and managing high performance teams with a high degree of autonomy.
- Previous background working on complex process industry projects finding innovative solutions to deliver projects with high standard engineering solutions. Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering advanced mining studies (PFS and Feasibility Studies).
- A professional that looks well beyond project management engineering, by adding value and innovative solutions.
- An exceptional expertise to dominate its specialty and to explore and evaluate the technical opportunities to deliver a high standard project.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Significant experience in communicating technical information and findings to senior personnel, including non-technical audiences.
- Ability to travel to Antapaccay plant site in Espinar - Cuzco - Perú at an altitude of 4000 masl.
