Overview

This role is responsible for managing new and existing customer relationships and driving profitability opportunities with key customers. The scope of the role includes providing value to customers through Mastercard solutions and thought leadership consultation as well as via leveraging cross functional project teams, systems and services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build, manage and further cultivate strong relationships between Mastercard and key clients across all business functions that value can be delivered
- Identify key stakeholders from the customers and leverage internal resources to achieve their business goals and objectives set by the clients
- Design and execute strategic account plans to enable clients meet their business objective
- Responsible for operational issues for the account including staff management and development, planning and budget/expense management.
- Influences Customer account strategies using analytical problem solving and leveraging data tools to provide market data and customer specific recommendations
- Supports customers on business and operational needs, building strong relationships.
- Supports project execution across all business functions including business development, advertising, marketing and product management
- Provides insight in the analysis of customer’s business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis
- Participates in business conversations with key decision makers internally and externally

All About You:

- Bachelor’s degree required. Post graduate studies preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills from a written, verbal and presentation perspective
- Comprehensive experience executing and managing sales strategies
- Strong influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution experience.
- Solid experience of consultative sales and relationship management experience within the financial services or payments industry sectors.
- Independent, motivated self-starter - acts with a sense of urgency.
- Meticulous and detail oriented.
- Payment industry experience and knowledge of the banking & payments market (preferred)
