**About Paysafe**

To help us fuel accelerated growth, we are looking for an experienced **INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER**

The Internal Audit Manager contributes to the value of the Group Internal Audit function by leading and/or performing audit/advisory engagements on Paysafe-related activities as part of an engagement team or individually under the direction of Senior Internal Audit management.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist the organisation in accomplishing its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes;
- Conducting and documenting risk-based and core assurance reviews of Paysafe’s activities, with the aim of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Compliance / Risk / Operational / Financial / Governance processes and controls to manage key risks, in collaboration with other Group governance functions;
- Conducting and documenting analysis of audit evidence / data to support the Internal Audit methodology including risk assessment, control testing and identification of potential anomalies;
- Conducting audit testing procedures and evaluate system-generated reports and/or other documents used in the performance of key controls, to provide assurance of control design and operational effectiveness;
- Producing reports communicating observations, risks, recommendations and agreed management actions arising from audit work;
- Producing and presenting status updates on assigned audit activities to Internal Audit team and Paysafe stakeholders;
- Conducting periodic follow-up of the implementation of recommendations resulting from internal audit work;
- Keeping updated on Paysafe policies/procedures and IIA standards;
- Supervising the activities of direct reports and/or less experienced audit team members assigned to work on the same reviews/initiatives
- Conducting quality assurance on audit deliverables and workpapers produced by other members of the Internal Audit function, as directed by Internal Audit Senior Management, to ensure these comply with Internal Audit policies and procedures
- Managing/leadership of activities of direct reports, or other team members, as directed by Internal Audit Senior Management
- Presenting status updates on audit activity, or other topics, to senior management, as directed by Internal Audit Senior Management
- Producing reports communicating observations, risks, recommendations and agreed management actions arising from audit work
- Facilitating completion of actions owned by management arising from internal audit work, as part of the audit action follow-up process
- Contributing to development of the internal audit plan, policy and process improvement including development of data analytics and emerging audit technologies
- Contributing to the recruitment process within the Internal Audit function

**EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE**

**REQUIRED**:

- Strong academic record, including bachelor or higher degree equivalent
- Industry-recognised audit, compliance or relevant certification such as CIA/CAMS/CPA
- 5+ years experience in internal audit, security, risk, compliance or other assurance discipline
- Experience in a global / international working environment
- English advanced is a must.

**DESIRED**:

- Experience within the financial services sector or other highly regulated industry
- Experience in audits / assessments of BSA / AML compliance
