ALDA is looking for a
**Coordinator for the Southern Caucasus and Central Asia**. He/she will work

under the supervision of ALDA’s Secretary General, the Head of the Implementation Unit and/or

the EU Coordinator; he/she will liaise with all the colleagues of the team, also with the staff of the

Chisinau office and the Task Force Ukraine Assistant - Field Officer.

The consultancy is intended as a Part Time contract,
**50 % of time (20 hours per week)**, with

possibility to be increased.

Among the related tasks:

- Representing ALDA in Southern Caucasus and Central Asia
- Supporting the partnership and membership development of ALDA in the Region;
- Supporting the project drafting in coordination with the Development Department;
- Supporting community development and good governance in the addressed areas;
- Contributing with inputs and suggestions to the best implementation of the projects, also promoting synergies with existing projects and initiatives;
- Contributing to advocacy activities supporting the work of ALDA on the specific topic.

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

- University degree
- Languages: Georgian, Russian and English professional working proficiency.
- French is an asset;
- Previous experience in project implementation of **at least 2 years**;
- Knowledge of the areas, mainly in terms of political and social challenges;
- Previous similar experience in the area is an asset;
- Experience in community development, civil society and local governance;
- Experience in managing networks, dealing with multiple partners and institutions;
- Ability to work in a team as well as individually;
- Knowledge of EU/European Commission policies;
- Proper work autonomy and proactive skills;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Knowledge of computer tools;
- Availability to travel in the region and and in the EU

**Terms of contract**

The consultant will have a working place in Tbilisi.

The contract will preferably start by
**end of September - early October 2023**.
