Overview Pacific Executive Search has been engaged on a search for a Controller. Base pay range $165,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr This range is provided by Pacific Executive Search. Responsibilities - Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards. - Manage the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial forecasts. - Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends and provide insights for strategic decision-making. - Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure a smooth review process. - Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. - Supervise the accounting team, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development. - Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data to stakeholders and management. Qualifications - Bachelor/'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master/'s degree or CPA designation is preferred. - Proven experience in a financial management role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements. - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. - Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in managing a finance team. - Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems. - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
