Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the defined channel sales strategy in specified market scope (global/regional) in an effective manner to improve ABB’s market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations in the assigned channel. Each day, you will execute channel sales strategies and initiatives within the assigned market, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel, in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a critical contributor to the sales customer base growth for the assigned channel. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-hybrid. This role is contributing to the Electrification business area in Lima, Perú. You will be mainly accountable for:
1. Implementing the agreed channel sales strategy within the approved budget.
2. Creating offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers and strategies.
3. Reporting the progress on channel strategies, plans, and budgets.
4. Conducting analyses on channel activity and taking ownership for solving any identified problems if they were to arise.
Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled in low voltage sales, working with low voltage channels (OEMs, panel builders, or similar).
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in low voltage electrical solutions.
- You have 2 to 3 years of experience in related positions and more than 5 years of experience in your professional career.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge accompaniment of the channel to achieve goals, follow-up of channel opportunities and sales force training.
- You are passionate about interaction at all levels, self-sufficiency, adaptability to change, innovation and ability to defend your ideas.
- Degree in electrical engineering, electromechanical engineering, engineer with industrial sales expertise, or related (must).
- You are at ease communicating in English and Spanish at an intermediate level.
