Position: Maintenance Manager Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Overview A leading manufacturer specializing in corrugated packaging and paper converting is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to oversee its maintenance operations. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment and infrastructure that support high-volume, fiber-based production. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, technical acumen, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced industrial environment. Responsibilities - Lead maintenance operations to support uninterrupted production of corrugated packaging and converted paper products. - Develop and execute strategic maintenance plans that align with operational goals and industry best practices. - Establish and maintain safety protocols to ensure a secure and compliant work environment. - Implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. - Supervise maintenance activities to ensure quality workmanship and the use of modern technologies. - Monitor and analyze departmental KPIs to identify performance gaps and drive operational improvements. - Collaborate with plant leadership to align maintenance strategies with broader production and business objectives. - Support labor relations through collaborative engagement with union representatives. - Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations. - Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team. - Mentor and develop staff to achieve high performance and professional growth. - Apply sound decision-making and problem-solving skills to resolve technical and operational challenges. Qualifications - Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (required). - Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline (preferred). - Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Experience in corrugated packaging or paper converting operations is required. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with maintenance management systems (e.g., CMMS, PLC/DCS platforms).
