We work together. We deliver excellence. About the role We are seeking an experienced HR Adviser to join our collaborative Human Resources team in a permanent part‑time role (0.8 FTE). Reporting to the HR Manager, this role provides hands‑on, generalist HR advice and support to managers and employees across the Hospital. The focus is on employee relations, performance management, policy application and day‑to‑day HR matters, supporting leaders to manage their teams confidently, fairly and in line with legislation and industrial instruments. This role does not manage recruitment, making it ideal for an HR professional who enjoys advisory work, relationship‑building and practical problem‑solving in a complex environment. Key responsibilities - Provide practical, generalist HR advice across employee relations, performance management, workplace conduct and employee lifecycle matters - Support managers to apply awards, enterprise agreements and HR policies consistently and in line with legislation - Assist with employee relations processes, including grievances, investigations and performance improvement - Contribute to HR projects, policy implementation and continuous improvement initiatives - Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation - Work collaboratively within the HR team to support a positive, compliant and values‑driven workplace culture About you You are a capable and approachable HR professional with strong judgement and a solutions‑focused mindset. You are comfortable dealing with sensitive matters, enjoy working closely with managers, and value collaboration and integrity. You bring a calm, pragmatic approach to HR advice and thrive in a part‑time role within a busy and complex hospital.
