Senior Leadership Role | Land and Built-Form | Growth & Delivery Focus A progressive and growing development business with a strong national footprint is seeking an experienced Development Director or State Manager to lead and grow its Queensland operations. This is a senior executive/leadership role offering full accountability for the performance, culture and growth of the Queensland business. The successful candidate will provide clear strategic direction, lead a high‑performing team and drive the delivery of financially successful developments that contribute meaningfully to the communities they serve. The Role - Leading, mentoring and developing a multidisciplinary Queensland team, fostering a high‑performance, values‑led culture - Building a strong leadership pipeline through effective recruitment, succession planning and performance management - Setting clear expectations, accountability frameworks and continuous improvement systems across the team - Managing the Queensland office as a profit centre, with full responsibility for budgets, forecasting and financial performance - Overseeing the delivery of a portfolio of development projects to agreed program, financial and design outcomes - Providing high‑quality reporting and insights to the Executive and Board - Driving growth through site acquisition, joint ventures and capital partnering opportunities - Representing the business with key partners, government and industry stakeholders You You are a seasoned property development leader who enjoys building strong teams as much as delivering strong commercial outcomes. You lead with clarity, empathy and conviction, and are comfortable setting high standards while supporting people to succeed.
