What we’re looking for:
We are looking for Shopify developers who are comfortable programming on the Shopify platform with experience using Headless Shopify Hydrogen & Remix. They should have development experience, in-depth understanding, and distinct perspectives of all things to specialize in all the Shopify projects. The chosen candidate should be able to create bespoke development using the existing Shopify templates. Besides that, they must also know how to convert mock-ups and specifications into complete functional solutions. They must also know how to update and modify existing websites to enhance the UX/UI design or add new features. Additionally, they should know how to test and develop 3rd-party Shopify apps and customize and create Shopify accounts.

Responsibilities:

1. Build an interactive, engaging, competent Shopify store to boost sales and increase revenue.

2. Design customizable Shopify themes and alter existing templates according to established benchmarks.

3. Expertly manage and oversee all aspects of the eCommerce forum.

4. Closely collaborate with UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) design teams to build strong, unique, and state-of-the-art user experiences.

5. Develop seamless connections with platform APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), marketing tools, and Shopify apps to optimize the store for peak efficiency and functionality.

6. Enhance store performance by regularly testing and debugging the website.

7. Provide adequate technical support and quality assurance to keep the Shopify store running seamlessly.

8. Boost conversions by properly optimizing the website.

Qualifications:

1. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an associated field.

2. You have an expert-level understanding of Shopify’s Admin System, including shop creation, launch, and management.

3. You have an expert-level understanding of Headless Shopify Hydrogen & Remix.

4. You are proficient in CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, and DOM.

5. You have experience in deploying applications in Vercel.

6. You have adequate knowledge of “Liquid” for Shopify Themes and Shopify Stores.

7. You have proven experience working with Shopify’s storefront APIs and custom themes.

8. You possess prior experience working with third-party Shopify apps, including implementation and debugging.

9. You have an in-depth understanding and expertise in jQuery, vanilla JavaScript, ES2015/ES6, and other trending JS frameworks.

10. You have a working knowledge of AJAX API, Meta fields, and other objects/properties within Shopify.

11. Using a browser console and other similar tools, you possess the top-notch ability to test and debug websites, specifically online stores.

12. You have proven experience building responsive layouts for mobile and web.

13. You understand various Shopify plugins as well as different third-party services and APIs.

14. You have an excellent working knowledge of other eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce, Magento, and BigCommerce would be preferred.

15. You have strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

16. You possess excellent communication skills that facilitate interaction with multiple stakeholders.

17. You are confident, detail-oriented, and highly motivated to contribute to a high-performing team.

18. You have the ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.

19. Fluent English speaker (important).
