Jaytex Construction is a progressive and dynamic development and building company with over 20 years of outstanding success in delivering cutting‑edge construction projects across South Australia and the Northern Territory. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects secured, we are looking to grow our high performing South Australian based team. We’re seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator with proven experience in delivery of commercial construction projects. You will be helping lead the delivery of a high‑profile commercial construction project, pushing the boundaries of future construction methodologies. As a leadership role within the team, you’ll be working adjacent to a Director of the business as part of a well‑resourced site team, delivering a mixed‑use residential & commercial office development close to the CBD. What we are looking for - Degree qualification in Construction Management, Building, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar - Minimum 5 years’ experience on commercial construction projects above $20 million in a similar role (Contract Administration, Project Coordination etc) - Clear understanding of the tender processes and the procurement and letting of trade packages - Strong financial acumen, knowledge of construction costs, detailed forecasting and monthly reporting - High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving skills - The ability to lead, mentor and grow others - Confident in coordinating large‑scale commercial projects from concept to completion - Self‑driven, detail‑oriented and passionate about building relationships across the industry - A working knowledge of construction specific Acts, Codes and Regulations, specifically the Building Code of Australia, Security of Payments Act and the Work Health & Safety Act - Previous experience with Estimate One, Hammertech and Procore desirable What we offer - The opportunity to work on one of South Australia’s most unique construction projects - A genuine leadership role.
