Technical Procurement Lead At Grafton Latam we are looking for a Technical Procurement Lead for our client, a transnational company that is a highly qualified and experienced supplier of industrial equipment specializing in the acquisition and supply of machinery, raw materials, spare parts and equipment for the industrial sector. We are seeking a Technical Procurement Lead to join a project driven engineering company focused on long term Industrial, Mining, Construction, expansion projects with regional scope. This is a remote, senior level role ideal for professionals with strong experience in industrial electrical equipment, technical procurement, and supplier coordination. - Review project requirements, technical specifications, drawings, and scopes. - Coordinate directly with clients, manufacturers, and strategic suppliers. - Manage quotations, technical datasheets, product options, lead times, and clarifications. - Prepare and review technical and commercial proposals, BOMs, and cost estimates. - Oversee RFIs, submittals, and all technical documentation required during procurement. - Ensure timely delivery of supplier commitments and project documentation. - Support project planning, field requirements, and technical compliance. Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. - 7 years of experience in industrial, commercial, or utility electrical projects. - Proven background working with electrical equipment. - Experience preparing technical & commercial proposals. - Ability to interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and technical specifications. - Strong supplier coordination experience (manufacturers, distributors, integrators). - English proficiency C1. - Strong remote communication, organization, and self-management skills. Professional Competencies - Highly responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented. - Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities. - Strong technical writing and documentation skills. - Able to manage multiple priorities in a fully remote environment. Preferred Experience - Experience in EPC companies, system integrators, or equipment manufacturers. - Ability to lead technical meetings and presentations. - Valid US visa (a plus).
