**About the Team**

**How the Position Works**:
As the Team lead of one of the Platform teams, you will report to the Director of Platform Engineering and manage a team of Software Engineers who develop and maintain one of the software products that support Tranzact’s core operations. The team lead is a highly motivated individual with solid technical knowledge and experience in.NET software development. You will be key in leading the team and the platform to the next level using your knowledge of software engineering best practices and your tenacious approach to learn the business and improve the team’s processes and deliverables.

The specific responsibilities include:

- Leading the agile team to design and implement features to realize the platform’s vision and roadmap.
- Managing, mentoring and providing technical leadership on the day-to-day tasks and priorities of the platform team.
- Continually improve our platforms, identifying opportunities, prioritizing payment of technical debt and refactoring the codebase to grow and evolve with current technology, the market, and end-user needs.
- Evolve the team’s processes and practices to improve non-technical responsibilities like end-user support, documentation, maintaining architectural decisions, etc.

**What you need to be successful**:

- At least 1 year of experience leading an Agile team.
- Hands-on technical leadership in software development, leading by example.
- Good understanding of Domain Driven Development, TDD, Clean Code, Design Patterns and SOLID principles.
- C# as a primary programming language.
- Experience with Angular or React frameworks.
- Commitment to communication and transparency; see value in sharing your thinking and work with others.
- An outgoing, positive and assertive personality. A self-starter who works well with peers and others but is not afraid to speak up. A naturally curious and tenacious problem solver.
- Advanced English skills and the ability to clearly communicate both written and orally in English.
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.

**What we would LOVE to see (Bonus Points)**:

- Knowledge of Jira Agile tools, boards and reports.
- Experience managing a codebase.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and continuous deployment pipeline setups.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS.
