These business units are also responsible for delivering corporate responsibilities relating to the Closing the Gap, Reconciliation Action Plan, Gender Equality Action Plan, White Ribbon Workplace Accreditation, the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan and the Suicide Prevention Plan. The position provides support and administrative assistance to the offices of the Ombudsman, Public Advocate, Public Trustee, the Commissioner for Equal Opportunity, the Office for Public Integrity, and the Commissioner for Victims' Rights, which aim to protect the rights of the public. The position oversees the administration of grant and contract funding to government and community based organisations, including Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations.
