With a strong reputation for excellence in residential and dementia care, Olivet Care provides residential aged care, respite, home care, day centre services and independent living accommodation. We are seeking an accomplished Director of Clinical Care to provide executive leadership across our residential aged care operations and to drive clinical governance, quality and continuous improvement at an organisational level. About The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the Board, this role is accountable for the strategic leadership, governance and performance of clinical care services. As a key member of the executive team, you will shape clinical strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, optimise funding outcomes and foster a high‑performing, values‑aligned clinical workforce. This role requires flexibility, with attendance at after‑hours meetings and some travel as required. Key Accountabilities - Provide strategic and operational leadership for all residential clinical care services - Lead clinical governance, accreditation and regulatory compliance in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards - Drive continuous quality improvement, risk management and clinical excellence - Ensure consumer‑directed care principles are embedded across all care delivery - Optimise clinical funding outcomes and support the financial sustainability of residential services - Lead, mentor and develop senior clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams - Partner with the executive team and Board through high‑quality reporting and advice - Represent Olivet Care with regulators, sector bodies and key external stakeholders About You You are a respected senior clinical leader with a proven track record in residential aged care or complex health environments. You bring a strategic mindset, strong governance capability and the ability to lead change in a highly regulated setting. You will bring - Tertiary qualification in a health‑related discipline (e.g. Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent) - Extensive senior leadership experience in residential aged care - In‑depth knowledge of the Aged Care Quality & Safety Standards and accreditation processes. - Demonstrated experience in re‑accreditation - Demonstrated success in leading clinical governance, quality and risk frameworks - Strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire and hold teams accountable - High‑level communication and stakeholder engagement capability Postgraduate qualifications and experience with electronic clinical care systems will be highly regarded.
