The opportunity Like our landscapes, we too are thriving and need an experienced Team Leader to join our Landscape Maintenance division in Newmarket. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will lead and coach a small team, where you will be invited to: - Manage and motivate your team to achieve deliverable outcomes. - Follow the maintenance works schedule and communicate variances with the Area Manager. - Conduct pre-start and regular team meetings including SWMS and daily JSAs. - Ensure maintenance works are completed to company standards, and client specifications. - Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order. - Use a digital reporting platform to timely and accurately complete all required paperwork and administration. - Work closely in conjunction with the Area Manager. Must haves - CertificateIII Horticulture, Maintenance and/or Landscape Construction OR, - Relevant equivalent experience in a similar role - Previous experience in a team leader / supervisory capacity - Current and valid manual driver’s licence - Current ACDC licence and White Card A bit more about the role This is a customer facing role where you liaise with the customer across all channels – written, phone and face to face. You will need strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely to a variety of stakeholders. This is a hands‑on role five days a week i.e., Monday to Friday from 7am to 3.30pm. You will need good commercial acumen and forward planning ability. You will be a strong team player who thrives in leading a small team that you can develop with your knowledge, skills and day-to-day support and encouragement.
