3. Connect & Control Technologies ($0.7B) is a niche player in harsh environment connectors and control components in critical applications for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.

Position Summary
Provide a direct and personal business relationship between the customer and the Company. Manage the assigned sales territory to develop and increase volume with the intent of meeting or exceeding revenue and margin goals. Support distributors in the assigned territory to achieve sales budget.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Develop existing accounts to achieve maximum penetration and achieve sales forecast for target pumps, parts, and services.
2. Establish sales budgets for distributors based on assigned territory and market to meet annual goals and meet customer aftermarket requirements.
3. Present technical seminars, provide information, and aggressively pursue customer requirement compliance.
4. Actively support strategic account programs at all strategic account locations.
5. Actively increase sales for the aftermarket including parts, professional repairs, maintenance contracts, and field services.
6. Develop and maintain routine and effective communication with key accounts (strategic and targeted customers as well as engineering firms) and support ITT's global efforts with strategic account customers.
7. Provide competitive product, business, and market feedback to the Company. Gather and maintain up-to-date information on market and competitive conditions (projected market growth, profitability, market share, competitive position, etc.).
8. Assist in the implementation of supply chain options that can improve the competitive position of the product.
9. Maintain reports for active projects and opportunities and support the monthly reporting process.
10. Work with the Cell Application Engineer to develop and implement strategies to win the project and then build traction.
11. Provide technical support and training on a regular basis to distributors.
12. Travel to customer sites with the goal of spending 75% of time in face-to-face meetings.
13. To service and process warranty claims, this position is responsible for confirming that warranty issues have been closed.
Position Requirements
Education: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Mechanics.
Experience: 10 years of experience in similar positions or experience in the mining or oil industry in rotating equipment as a user.
Familiarity preferably with the Goulds product or similar brands.
Knowledge of mechanical seals, electric motors, couplings, instrumentation used in pumping equipment.
Basic knowledge of competitor products. Advanced English, written and spoken.
Negotiation experience.
Proven experience in failure analysis.
