Salary: $65,000 - $130,000 per year

The Corus World Health is seeking a skilled Health Systems Strengthening Lead to lead and oversee all technical components for the project in Peru. The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, evaluating, and managing large, complex, and integrated programs of similar scope.

About the Role:

  • Provide program oversight and supervision in the design and day-to-day management of activities, ensuring that project planning, development, resource availability, procurement, and management activities function smoothly and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with USAID and Government of Peru national government agencies, public health partners, member organizations, and local civil society organizations.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team and headquarters staff to ensure the effective design of programs and create action plans for the implementation of project activities.
  • Lead the team in synthesizing learning from the project for dissemination of results and represent the project at external technical events.
  • Collaborate closely with project communication staff to document successes, lessons learned, challenges in implementation, best practices, and milestones.

About You:

  • You have an advanced degree in a relevant field such as infectious disease or tropical medicine; public health; applied or field epidemiology; animal health or veterinary sciences; environmental science; one health; or health systems strengthening.
  • You have a proven track record of managing a project team composed of numerous technical experts and experience using innovative ways to foster teamwork.
  • You possess excellent diplomacy skills and a proven ability to establish and maintain interpersonal and professional relationships with USAID, host-country counterparts, and representatives from other key stakeholders.
