Leadership Position for Monitoring and Evaluation Expert

Social Impact is a global development management consulting firm dedicated to advancing development effectiveness. We provide monitoring, evaluation, strategic planning, and capacity building services across all development sectors.
We are seeking a highly experienced Chief of Party to lead our upcoming contract with USAID/Peru. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall leadership and management of the project, including team supervision, work plan development, budgeting, and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supporting USAID's Monitoring and Evaluation efforts, with a proven track record in managing MEL or M&E development projects as Chief of Party. They should possess a deep understanding of USAID initiatives, practices, and policies, including the USAID MEL practice and USAID Localization Initiative.
The position requires excellent supervisory, mentorship, and leadership capabilities for local and international staff, as well as exceptional ability to deliver sound guidance, leadership, and solutions on various M&E, Learning, Knowledge Management, and technical tasks.
The selected candidate will serve as the main point of contact between Social Impact, USAID, Government of Peru officials, and related partners. They will oversee the project's financial and contractual resources in accordance with the budget and USAID policies and regulations.
Experience designing and conducting evaluations, monitoring, and oversight of MEL and CLA tasks for international development projects funded by USAID is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, in English and Spanish are essential.
This full-time position is based in Lima, Peru, and offers a competitive salary range estimated at $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
