Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to work as an In-House Legal Expert, providing legal advice on all aspects of product development, launch, and maintenance of private funds.
You will work closely with the business colleagues in the Americas and throughout the firm globally to provide legal guidance on structuring and execution of fund investments.
In addition, you will draft, review, and negotiate advisory and sub-advisory agreements for institutional and intermediary asset management business.
You will also work closely and collaboratively with all members of the Legal and Governance team, as well as business colleagues, in the Americas and throughout the firm globally.
Key Responsibilities- Provide legal advice on product development, launch, and maintenance of private funds.
- Work closely with the business colleagues to provide legal guidance on structuring and execution of fund investments.
- Draft, review, and negotiate advisory and sub-advisory agreements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A JD with 4-8 years of asset management legal experience.
- Significant experience with private funds.
- Working knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Investment Company Act of 1940, and ERISA.
We offer a competitive base salary range of $200,000 to $230,000 for this position.
