SQM leads the way in providing innovative solutions for the hospitality industry. As a key member of our team, the Hotel Technology Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth through new business acquisitions.
About the JobThe primary responsibility of the Hotel Technology Business Development Manager is to plan and prioritize business development activities to achieve company revenue goals and sales targets for defined regions. This involves coming up with innovative commercial strategies to maximize results and reach challenging targets.
Main ResponsibilitiesClient Acquisition:
Create new opportunities and upsell current customers. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from outreach to demo and closing.
Achieving Sales Targets:
Work towards daily, weekly and monthly targets and finalize all sales in a timely manner.
Presentation and Negotiation:
Prepare accurate quotes and develop and present proposals to clients in a professional and confident manner. Negotiate contracts as required, maintaining a balance between optimal service and value for the client and SiteMinder's profit margins.
CRM Maintenance:
Maintain accurate records of your business development activities on SiteMinder's CRM system.
Client Feedback:
Provide client feedback on products to the Product Team so that products can be reviewed in line with the feedback.
Partner Management:
Work with local industry groups and travel associations to promote SiteMinder's products and brand. Attend key functions and events, requiring occasional travel to client locations to attend meetings with relevant managers.
You have a solid track record of achieving sales targets in the SaaS space, with experience in new business acquisition and full sales cycles. Industry background in hotel tech, OTA, or revenue management is highly valued.
Your excellent communication and presentation skills will enable you to prepare and deliver professional presentations to clients. Strong negotiation skills and a focus on delivering exceptional customer service are also essential for this role.
