Job Summary
- Zelestra is seeking a highly skilled Senior Solar Plant Operator to join our team in La Joya, Perú.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in operations and maintenance, preferably in the renewable energy sector. They will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of solar farms, with a strong focus on production optimization, compliance with maintenance plans, availability and performance KPIs, and adherence to Occupational Health and Safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain systems and control operations to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Ensure compliance with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks according to established procedures.
- Complete maintenance reports on time and communicate effectively with supervisors, work teams, and stakeholders.
- Comply with company safety and environmental policies.
- Maintain ongoing coordination with the Remote Operations Center (ROC) and intervene in equipment based on ROC requirements.
- Prepare real-time reports on operational and corrective events for ROC and the work team.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations and maintenance, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Advanced proficiency in office software tools.
- Knowledge of communication systems, SCADA, and video surveillance.
- Availability to work in shifts.
- Valid driver's license.
