Risk and Compliance Manager

Adidas is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Manager to join our team. This critical role plays a vital part in maintaining the company's ongoing focus on Corporate Governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with senior leaders to develop, support, and lead initiatives focused on improving business processes efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness.
  2. Ensure compliance with external laws, internal regulations, and established Group Internal Control frameworks, best practices, and policies.
  3. Protect corporate assets, including physical stock, cash, and public dishonesty, procedural failure, administrative error, and wastage.
  4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support senior leaders.

Retail Store Compliance Audits:

  1. Conduct retail store compliance audits to ensure adherence to defined controls, policies, and procedures.
  2. Analyze and report findings, ensuring remediation actions are followed by Retail Management.
  3. Follow-up on remediating action plans and update TM+ or global store compliance audit tools.

Policies and Procedures Awareness and Processes Improvement:

  1. Maintain knowledge of Global/Market/Local policies and procedures through regular trainings at local levels.
  2. Design, develop, implement, and regularly update local policies and procedures based on best practices and Group requirements.
  3. Develop initiatives/projects focused on improving efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness of business processes.

Reporting and Communication:

  1. Produce IC&RP monthly reports for local senior management visibility of risk, findings, and opportunities.
  2. Communicate major control deficiencies immediately to LAM.
  3. Complete timely reports/findings using Resolver platform for relevant stakeholders.

Leadership and People Management:

  1. Develop leadership skills by identifying opportunities to increase and exemplify Leadership Framework behaviors.
  2. Manage, motivate, and develop subordinated employees in line with individual development.

Key Relationships:

Establish strong relationships with General Manager, Finance Director, Heads of Departments, Process Owners, LAM IC&RP Director, IC&RP Partners, Group Policies & Internal Controls, Group Internal Audit, and External auditors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in similar roles with international experience.
  • Strong auditing/internal control skills and process improvement experience.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in project management and ERP systems like SAP, MicroStrategy.
