About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Travel Sales Agent. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling travel packages to customers, working closely with our team of travel experts to create customized itineraries and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

\
  • Promote and sell travel packages to potential customers, including flights, hotels, and tours.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences.
  • Create customized itineraries based on client requirements and budget.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and travel destinations to provide accurate and relevant information to clients.
  • Process bookings and payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and achieve company goals.
  • Handle any customer complaints or issues in a professional and effective manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions.

Requirements

\
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of travel booking systems and reservation processes.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English and French (additional languages are a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Tourism, or a related field (preferred).
