Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor - Hotel Operations
Key Objectives:
- To develop and maintain a safe working environment that meets regulatory requirements.
- To oversee the maintenance and repair of hotel systems to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- To coordinate and supervise maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure timely repairs.
- Manage energy consumption and environmental practices for optimal efficiency.
- Lead emergency response efforts, ensuring that safety equipment is regularly inspected and operational.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or technical certification in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Hands-on experience with maintenance systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software.
- Health & Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are a plus.
