**Job Summary**

We're seeking a talented Senior Engineer - Payload Systems to join our team at Space42. As a key member of our Space Segment Engineering department, you'll lead the design, development, and integration of satellite payload systems, driving innovation in space technology solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing satellite payload systems, ensuring alignment with mission requirements and industry standards.
  • Supporting payload performance analysis, establishing link budgets to size the payload for new missions and assessing trade-offs between EIRP, bandwidth, G/T, and C/I.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and optimal system performance.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong educational background in Communications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the satellite industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in radiofrequency applications and link budgets.
