Job Title: Senior Project Director - Economic IntegrationDescription:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our economic integration project in Peru and Ecuador. As the Senior Project Director, you will oversee all aspects of the project, ensuring its successful implementation and achievement of its objectives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale development projects, particularly in the areas of financial inclusion, workforce development, social protection, local governance, and social inclusion. They will also possess excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively with government counterparts, USG donors, and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and technical oversight to the project team
  • Ensure effective project planning, implementation, and monitoring
  • Lead dialogue with government partners and other stakeholders to advance project goals
  • Maintain strong relationships with USAID and other donor organizations
  • Ensure sound financial management and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in a related field (e.g. business administration, international development)
  • At least 12 years of experience in development project management, with a focus on financial inclusion, workforce development, and social protection
  • 6+ years of experience in a leadership role managing large, complex projects funded by USAID or other donors
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in challenging contexts
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required
  • Prior experience working in Peru, Ecuador, and/or Venezuela is highly desirable
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a generous salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Location:

This position is based in Lima, Peru, with frequent travel to project sites in Ecuador and other locations as needed.
