We are seeking a Senior Level Infrastructure Engineer to help us maintain, modernize and transform our Core compute, Storage and Data Protection platforms. This position will be primarily focused on Core Infrastructure systems, architecture, and designs regarding modern management of Cisco Flashstack, Cisco UCS, Pure Storage, Cohesity Data Protection, deployments and configurations within VMWare, Physical and Cloud Environments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working as part of the IT technical team, attending internal business partner meetings; must be comfortable presenting to and communicating with all levels of staff from Helpdesk to C-Level
- Collecting business and technical requirements
- Delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations
- Supporting proof-of-concept efforts, creating Bill of Materials (BOMs)
- Assisting Consulting Engineers or teams with project delivery
- Serve as the primary escalation path for both solutions architects and clients and engage upper management when necessary
- Participate in determining Hunts IT Architectural goals and performance objectives
- Provide regular status updates to Infrastructure/Data Center manager and IT Director to keep them informed about issues, impediments, escalations and necessary resources
- Provides areas for improvement and has direct influence on training/validating new processes
- Engages on developing new products and innovating new solutions
- Mentor other Architects and team members

**Required Experience**:

- 5+ years in a senior engineering role
- 7+ years’ experience in VMWare Server Virtualization, TCP/IP services and solutions
- 5-7 years’ experience in planning Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery operations
- 3-5 years’ experience with Data Protection platforms and Solutions.
- 3-5 years’ experience leading and supporting Cloud Migrations and Hybrid Cloud environments
- Solid understanding and experience of Virtualization Technologies such as VMWare, Hyper-V
- Solid understanding of IT Networking and related services
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in CIS, MIS, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Relevant professional certifications beneficial: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE, Cisco Data Center, Cisco Route/Switch, AWS and others.
