DESCRIPTION

An important global client is looking for a Sr. IT Services Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT team

**Responsibilities**:

- Participating as part of the IT Services technical team, attending internal meetings, you must be able to communicate with all levels of the team.
- Collect technical requirements of the business
- Lead proof-of-concept processes, as well as requirements development
- Work with external consultants on the various implementations that are made
- Serve as a liaison between the technical team and the business leadership teams
- Consistently report to the IT Services Manager and IT Director to keep them informed of issues, impediments, escalations, and resource needs
- Provide recommendations for improvement.
- Provide relevant information to the IT Services Manager regarding managed services.
- Lead the development of new products and solutions
- Inform management of process improvements in areas of concern
- Mentor other team members

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure (management
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and Horizon View; Microsoft Hyper-V; Nutanix AHV/Acropolis and their cloud counterparts.
- Knowledge of network technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and VLANs
- Knowledge of Cisco, Cisco WIFI, and Cisco Meraki network technologies
- Basic knowledge of Firewall technologies such as PaloAlto, VPN, and SSL/TLS protocols, Security hardening, Antimalware, Digital Certificates, Encryption, etc.
- Configuring and Managing Linux Servers
- Cisco UCS/FlashStack Configuration and Management - Unified Computing Solutions
- Configuring and Managing Pure Storage Flasharray and Flashblade, NAS
- Configuration and management of VEEAM, Cohesity Data Protection, or other hyperconverged solutions. Management knowledge of backup and recovery strategies.
- Knowledge of patching and execution strategies using centralized tools such as Tanium (end point
- SolarWinds platform configuration and management for monitoring, tuning, scaling, SLA management, and automatic remediation
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Powershell.
- Knowledge of ITIL and Change Management oriented to customer satisfaction

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**:

- 7 or more years in senior IT engineering positions
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Networking, Computer Science and related
- Certifications in the requested technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, CompTIA Network+, Security+ and Server+, CCNA, VMWare (VCP, ITIL and related to cybersecurity
- ** Advance English is required, it will be evaluated during the process, and english interview will take place with a global Manager from the team of United States
