About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Junior IT Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Lima.

You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure, across on-premise environments, cloud platforms, and networking systems.

This role combines hands-on technical execution with strategic systems management, supporting both local and remote teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L1 and L2 support for users and systems (hardware, software, and network)
  • Manage and maintain servers, storage, and cloud infrastructure
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
  • Support identity and access management across platforms and ensure compliance with security policies
  • Coordinate with remote IT teams for incident response, VPN connectivity, and infrastructure optimization
  • Contribute to documentation, automation, and process improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Intermediate to advanced English
    (able to communicate in english - speaking)
  • Degree in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields
  • 1 year
    of experience in IT infrastructure management, IT Support or related fields
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, firewalls, DNS)
  • Familiarity with IDC operations and physical server management is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving attitude, autonomy, and accountability
