Procesar todos los registros de ingreso y salida de los huéspedes, así como también la asignación de las habitaciones y las solicitudes de cambio de habitación y retraso en el horario para dejar la habitación. Obtener los pagos; activar o entregar llaves nuevas de las habitaciones. Asegurarse de que las tarifas se ajusten a las normas del mercado y de que se documenten todas las excepciones que surjan. Verificar o reajustar la facturación para los huéspedes. Comunicarse con el personal adecuado cuando haya huéspedes esperando una habitación disponible. Informar a los huéspedes sobre cualquier mensaje que hayan recibido. Borrar las partidas de los huéspedes del sistema informático. Coordinar con el Departamento de Limpieza a fin de hacer un seguimiento del estado de las habitaciones y de las inquietudes de los huéspedes. Archivar el papeleo o la documentación de los huéspedes. Manejar la terminal de central telefónica. Preparar y comprobar los informes diarios, las listas de imprevistos y los informes de autorización de las tarjetas de crédito. Brindar indicaciones e información a los huéspedes sobre la manera de llegar a destinos. Atender, registrar y procesar todas las llamadas, las solicitudes, las preguntas o las inquietudes de los huéspedes; hacer un seguimiento a fin de asegurar que se hayan solucionado satisfactoriamente. Solicitar un medio de transporte para los huéspedes o visitantes. Computar y asegurar la caja al comenzar y finalizar el turno. Cobrar los cheques de los huéspedes, procesar todos los medios de pago, comprobantes, desembolsos y gastos, además de proporcionar cambio. Notificar a Seguridad cualquier denuncia de robo presentada.
