As a Field Specialist Aeroderivative Mechanical, you will be responsible for:

- Providing on-site interpretation of data and technical instruction
- Actively collaborating with others crew members to the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of Customer Equipment in the Field at Customer Sites providing technical assistance through on-site guidance and training in operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting technique.
- Making recommendations on findings, reviewing the effectiveness of maintenance actions in order to identify future needs
- Being responsible for the execution of specific tasks following the Site Quality Check Lists provided for the agreed scope of work. May interact with Customer Representative and Site Team on routine matters at the Field Job Site such as coordination meetings. He/she needs to provide all required records of all activities accomplished at Customer Site to the Baker Hughes TPS Supervisor and promotes and maintains good team relations.
- Executing all required responsibilities safely and as instructed by direct supervisors and following all TPS Service applicable processes and procedures. Performs other related duties as required.
- Leading and executing unit start-up and performance tests ensuring proper and safe operation of the machine by evaluating the running parameters and troubleshooting mechanical issues as they arise.
- Conducting all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE, Quality and Compliance).

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in an engineering discipline or equivalent; or minimum of 6 years related experience and/or training; or a combination of experience and/or education preferred.
- Have minimum of 5 years of experience in field service or maintenance position.
- Be specialized on GE Aero Gas Turbine Products
- Have mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical equipment knowledge
- Have experience with GE LM2500 technology
- Having experience with GE 7EA is a plus
- Be fluent in Spanish and English Languages (written and spoken) and able to communicate effectively
- Be Baker Hughes FSE level, have gone through the FSE program and able to take up typical FSE responsibilities.
- Have availability to travel 80% of time.
- Have Functional / Technical, Customer Focus, Communication, Interpersonal, and Team working Skills.
- Under mínimal supervision receives and follows established tasks according to the Maintenance or Installation activities schedule on Customer equipment’s in the Field.
