**Job Scope**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Contribute to strategic architecture and vision
- Evaluate new tools and technologies, create prototypes and proof of concepts, and share your result with your peers - Actively mentor engineers to develop their expertise
- Work with engineering teams as they start new projects to ensure a maintainable architecture is created
- Adhere to and advocate for development best practices including test driven development and agile methodologies
- Contribute ideas for continually improving the team's productivity and code quality
- Become an expert in our existing systems in order to innovate on their further improvement.
**Qualifications**
- 10+ years of experience in producing software; last 2-4 contributing at a Senior or Principal level
- Expert-level experience with at least C# and the.NET runtime and JavaScript
- Expert experience with TDD, SOLID design, SOA, scalability
- Organize and prioritize individual workload in order to meet required deadlines
- Communicate effectively with team members, team leads, and on occasion with clients
- Work as a member of a team, accept ownership of work and actively contribute to team discussions
- Excellent decision-making skills
