You will be part of this growth as **Director Public Affairs and Communications - Ecuador and Peru **having the opportunity to build a consistent and fluid dynamic among Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability to create a healthy environment for business growth, not only by anticipating risks in stakeholder and media arenas, but also by leveraging the positive impact that Coca-Cola has at community level and leading a shared value culture within the Coca-Cola System.

**What we expect from you**:

- Position requires decision making on regular basis for advocacy with key stakeholders including government, regulators and consumers, who have company and/or product related concerns.
- Besides an administrative budget (Opex), has a Programs budget to fund Corporate Social Responsibility programs, as well as to support bottler initiatives.
- Goals in a short term (1 year): Leads the Coca Cola System to adopt a unique strategy and journey to deal with the external environment, aligning the business needs with the new operating model.
- Goals in a mid-term (2-3 years): Builds relationships with new government representatives/entities, key community leaders and trade associations in order to adopt consistent positions with Company objectives.
- Goals in a long term (3+ years): enhance Coca-Cola corporate reputation based on our main purpose of making the difference by leading sustainability and the Coca Cola System contribution for our communities.
- It is necessary to know and understand the details of the Business Plan of the company to fully compare and identify barriers within the governmental policy. It is also important to coordinate and lead public relations, communications, initiatives to promote and strengthen reputation and value of Coca Cola brands within the business.
- This role requires developing new approaches for spreading the new shared value business model and culture as well as to develop a visible leadership role in dealing with government, ONGS, and industry representatives across the system to maximize opportunities to build a stronger engagement platform with all stakeholders.
- This role has main responsibilities in Ecuador and Perú with a high possibility to participate in regional scalable projects for Latin America.

**Qualification & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Affairs, Business or related field, Master’s degree is preferred.
- Solid experience (between 8-10 years) in government relations, stakeholder management or public affairs and in communications.
- Experience working with sustainable or corporate responsibility programs and for multi-national company is preferred.
- Business acumen is highly desirable.
- High level of complexities in communicating strategies, policies, statements, and positioning across the company as well as Governments (Head of State, Ministers, Senior Bureaucrats)
- Mastery of 1- Thinking holistically; generating ideas to defend the business and impact positively our stakeholders. 2- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills 3- Full digital and social media engagement-Proficient 4- It is critical to understand the impact of the government decisions for the business. 5- Crisis management
- English and Spanish required
