- Liberty Seguros has an excellent opportunity in Lima for a Surety Legal Assistant. In this role, you will provide legal support and risk analysis to surety underwriters, ensuring the correct handling of documentation and regulatory compliance.

**Responsibilities**:
- Draft, review and formalize letters of guarantee, counter-guarantees and other legal documents related to surety bonds, guaranteeing compliance with deadlines.
- Manage document control (digital and physical): entry, indexing, custody, legalizations, signatures, and conservation according to internal policies.
- Maintain and update Surety Handbook and associated procedures.
- Prepare and submit reports and reports required by the regulator (SBS) and other entities, complying with established formats and periodicity.
- To respond to information requirements from beneficiaries, clients, and public entities; coordinate with internal areas for timely responses.
- To monitor registry registrations and coordinate notarial procedures.
- Monitor relevant regulatory updates, prepare weekly executive summaries of legal publications (El Peruano).
- Other related functions assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Law with professional registration.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in legal departments of companies in the financial or insurance sector.
- Experience in document management, legalizations and custody of files (digital and physical).
- Working knowledge of public registry procedures (SUNARP) and coordination with notaries.
- Specific knowledge of legislation applicable to bonds and sureties, real guarantees (mortgages, pledges), trusts, promissory notes, contracts with the government and corporate governance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word at an intermediate level.
- Intermediate English — writing and conversational skills.
- Proficiency in management of document management tools (SharePoint or others).
- Good legal writing skills, organization, attention to detail, teamwork, and service orientation.
