BP & STC SOX Controls Testing Analyst

JOIN OUR TEAM IN EL SALVADOR

We are looking for an BP & STC SOX Controls Testing Analyst.
Location: El Salvador

Role is responsible for:
- Understanding the testing scope considering overall yearly SOX testing objectives- Working alongside other parties involved in SOX testing (e.g. Internal Audit, co-source testers)- Updating test scripts.- Executing testing of SOX controls within the deadlines.- Documenting testing in work papers per the methodology o Working within the GRC tool to document controls testing results.- Formulating pragmatic recommendations for controls remediation / improvements based on the deficiencies identified.- Ensure the testing is done in accordance with the SOX and Business Controls methodology in terms of sampling, frequency, and controls evidence requirements- Feedback on potential areas of improvements identified through the testing exercise (i.e. suggestions to update controls descriptions, controls evidence, frequency, methodology, etc.), and major road blocks encountered

Professional and Academic requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related.- Previous audit experience (internal/external)- Experienced financial control specialist/auditor- ️ Experience in executing/contributing to a SOX and internal controls testing cycle, ideally with a Big 4 background.- Financial or related relevant professional certification (Qualified accountant, internal auditor or equivalent post graduate professional qualification)- Detailed understanding of financial and finance related processes and controls, including in the areas of sales to collect.- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
