This position involves teaching motivated students within our well-established IB Diploma Programme. Your primary responsibilities will focus on delivering an exceptional classroom experience and maintaining effective professional relationships.Your responsibilities will include:

Curriculum & Teaching**: Plan, document, and facilitate the learning of all students through the design of appropriately challenging activities. You will implement adaptive teaching methods, personalization, and individualization where necessary, and monitor and track the academic progress of your IB students.
- ** Assessment**:Maintain a thorough understanding of the IB Business Management assessment framework and Internal Assessment requirements. You will guide students through their Internal Assessment (IA) and Extended Essay, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- ** Collaboration & Communication**:You will maintain clear and consistent communication with students regarding their progress, ensuring they are well-supported in their academic journey. You will also collaborate effectively with your line manager and other colleagues, engaging in **proactive, empathetic, and professional communication** to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment. This includes a willingness to actively listen to your colleagues, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a culture of mutual support and shared responsibility.
- ** Real-World Application**:You will organize and lead field trips and excursions to businesses that can provide real-world context and enhance learning beyond the classroom.
- ** Technology**:You should be proficient in using educational technology and familiar with Google tools for education (Gmail, Classroom, Docs, Forms, Sheets, Slides).

**Wider School Responsibilities**

As a key member of our faculty, you will also be expected to contribute to the wider school community.These responsibilities include:
- Providing school reports in accordance with the school calendar.
- Participating fully in the school's target setting and performance development (appraisal) system.
- Supervising students before school, at break times, or after school, following the duty roster.
- Providing one appropriate and engaging after-school activity each week.
- Being ready to be a Form Teacher if required.
- Participating actively in the weekly CPD sessions and being ready to take on professional development opportunities.
- Being willing to provide additional time outside of the standard working day for preparation, assessment, and attending school events.
- Carrying out any other duties that may reasonably be required by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

We are looking for a professional with a passion for Business Management and a commitment to student-centered learning.**Essential Competencies**:

- A proven track record of successful teaching experience at the IB level.
- Excellent knowledge of the IB Business Management syllabus, framework, and assessment requirements.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Excellent information technology skills, including familiarity with Google tools for Education.

**Desirable Competencies**:

- Experience in supervising Extended Essays for the IB Programme.
- Experience in being an examiner for the IB Programme.
- Experience working with EAL (English as an Additional Language) pupils.
