The incumbent is responsible for supporting to Service Compliance Senior Manager in topics related to the relationship management acting as a liaison (focal point) between GTS LATAM and the IT and governance units (from LATAM countries) for information requests related to the specialized areas mentioned above, including (but not limited to) the following units: Compliance Management, Audit Request Management and IT Risk Management. The incumbent will support Audit requirements, coordinating, meetings, requesting and tracking petitions from/to GTS LATAM units. The incumbent is responsible to manage and providing technical consultation and guidance in the specialized areas mentioned above. Is also responsible to oversee, coordinate and track task and requirements from the units mentioned above. The incumbent will manage and oversees his/her own team for day to day operations, other teams assigned for special projects and/or third party vendors. **¿Qué esperamos de ti?** - A desirable post graduate degree MBA or IT is desirable, along with at least 5-10 years of practical experience in developing and deploying complex technology is essential. - Must have an expert knowledge of all aspects of Information Technology and industry practices. Expertise in IT key controls and risk assessment concepts. CISA accreditation or equivalent is desirable. Thorough knowledge of audit practices and knowledge of regulatory requirements. - Must have a broad knowledge of the Banks products, services, market trends, computer services, planning and control tools and organizational structure. - Should have an understanding of COBIT principles and best practices for Data Security. - Must have good interpersonal and communication skills in order to deliver proposals, provide consultation to development staff and interact with diverse user groups from clerical to senior management level. **¿A qué retos te enfrentarás?** - Supports to Service Compliance Senior Manager as part of the team that acts as a focal point and liaison between GTS LATAM and LATAM countries, providing information and answer questions and doubts related to infrastructure assets, configuration items, operations & support processes, service delivery reports and dashboards managed by GTS LATAM to all audit departments in LATAM countries. - Manages Audit requirements, coordinating, requesting and tracking all the petitions from/to GTS LATAM units. - Manages, support and coordinate with main and key providers (such as IBM) all items related to Audit Requirements, Regulatory information and compliance, risks evaluation of processes. - Manages Compliance processes and interactions with regulatory requirements, policies and documents for BNS and LATAM countries. - Manages Risk Processes, risk assessments, evaluations for BNS and Latam countries that involves GTS LATAM topics. - Brings advisory and support on meetings for IT people from LATAM countries about Audit, Risk and Compliance topics related to GTS scope. - Brings expert advisory on IT controls and audit objectives to customers within GTS LATAM units and legal entities of Scotiabank Group in LATAM. - Manage awareness sessions, preliminary training and activities to socialize upcoming changes as part of the communications strategy for Service Management practices. - Supports to Service Compliance Senior Manager on staff administration, development and performance management - Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
