**About the role**

The Talent Acquisition & HR Coordinator supports MEDLIFE’s Talent Development department by leading and bringing strong experience in recruitment, also responsible for processes of people administration, managing onboarding, and ensuring HR compliance. They are in charge of employee records, workplace safety and admin side of internal communications, engagement initiatives. This role fosters a mission-driven culture while maintaining a compliant and supportive work environment.

**What will your day-to-day look like at MEDLIFE?**

**Primary responsibilities**:
**Recruitment and workforce planning**:

- Propose and execute innovative efforts to identify high performing talent for the organization and our chapters at universities and high schools.
- Lead recruitment efforts (inbound and outbound), including drafting job descriptions, screening, interviewing, and coordinating hires.
- Manage onboarding for smooth integration and collaborate on staffing needs and succession planning.
- Use data-driven tools for role matching and workforce forecasting to support organizational goals.
- Define and maintain roles aligned with MEDLIFE’s mission and strategic objectives.

**People Administration, Compliance & Workplace Health & Safety**:

- Manage employee records, contracts, offboarding, compliance, asset tracking, etc. Lead SUNAFIL inspections.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, handle inspections, and resolve employee conflicts.
- Provide guidance and adapt HR practices to changing regulations.
- Part of the responsibilities is not to execute PLAME, T-Registro, AFPNet, Planillas, etc but strong knowledge of them are important to make accurate requests and follow ups to the accounting team.
- Conduct safety risk assessments for field and office staff.
- Develop and enforce safety policies for remote and fieldwork.
- Coordinate training to employees on safety practices per regulations.
- Ensure compliance with local safety laws (prioritizing CSST in Peru)

**Employee Engagement & Internal communications**
- Coordinate with Marketing team the design of internal communication materials (birthdays, work anniversaries, etc)
- Deliver the internal communication content to the different channels at the organization.
- Collaborate in internal events and other initiatives to promote employee engagement and strengthen the company culture.

**Other**:

- Collaborate with other required tasks in the Talent Management department as needed.

**What will you bring?**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment/talent acquisition (Internship periods do not apply).
- HR administration, and workforce planning experience.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance standards.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong alignment with MEDLIFE’s mission and values, with a passion for social justice and improving the lives of underserved communities.
- High proficiency in English (written and verbal)
