**The Opportunity**

The Latin America region is home to some of the world’s fastest growing economies, with large-scale investment in infrastructure set for the coming years. We are looking to expand our footprint within Latin America from our base in Lima, Peru with potential opportunities throughout both Central and South America including Mexico and Colombia.

We are looking for an experienced Interpreter working to support our business to deliver large infrastructure in Peru. As interpreter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services in both English and Spanish for our infrastructure projects.

**You’ll Be Responsible For**:

- Provide high-quality simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services in English and Spanish for meetings, presentations, and events related to infrastructure projects.
- Work closely with our Project and Programme Management teams to ensure that interpretation needs are met effectively.
- Collaborate with other interpreters and professionals to ensure quality and consistency in interpretation.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Support to Interpretation lead with updates to interpretation documentation such as glossary/ materials for workshops
- Basic translation services to support the programme (updates of presentations/ checking of reports and memos)
- Support and coordination of the Interpreter calendar known as the BIP (Booking Interpreters Platform)
- Interpretation equipment - coordination for repair and operations and maintenance

**You’ll need to have**:

- University degree in Interpretation, Translation, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a simultaneous and consecutive interpreter in English and Spanish.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of the infrastructure and construction industry would be an advantage.
- Availability to travel to the regions at cost to the business for interpretation on site trips
