**Spanish Medical Interpreters (Remote/OPI/VRI)**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide accurate and timely remote interpretation services for diverse client locations.
- Interpret critical information in compliance with ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.
- Foster positive interactions with healthcare professionals, patients, customers, and clinical staff.
- Maintain comprehensive daily activity logs and required documentation.
- Participate in ongoing annual educational programs and internal professional training.
- Answer calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct, and take notes during calls.
- Ensure familiarity with industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in healthcare and medicine.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interpreting sessions, following standards of practice.
- Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients.
- Demonstrate a commitment to cultural sensitivity and professionalism in various industries, responding promptly to interpreting sessions and maintaining a calm demeanor, especially in emergency situations.

**Qualifications**
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English with cultural expertise.
- Cultural competency for effective communication, assessing regional and accent differences.
- Strong listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
- Education or work experience in language-related fields.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Ability to work independently with a commitment to specified hours.
- Native proficiency in Spanish and fluent in English.
- High school diploma
- High emotional intelligence, cultural tolerance, and strong communication skills.
- Resourcefulness, ownership, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, outstanding customer service.
- Proficient in managing confidential information, teamwork, and adaptability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow directions.
- Willingness to undergo training.

**Technical Requirements**
- Dedicated equipment: Computer, headsets, and camera.
- High-speed internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload) for work-related communication.
- Access to a quiet, distraction-free space.
- Direct cable or fiber optic connection from modem to desktop or laptop (satellite service not permissible).
