We are looking for you**What you will do as a Business Development and Project Manager**: Royal HaskoningDHV would like to strengthen its business development and executing capabilities for the LATAM region for its Business Line Water & Maritime. The overall responsibilities of this role are: - To execute and support the development of the business development strategy for the Climate Resilience market - To manage leads and proposal processes to contribute to the success and profitable growth of the business in the region - Be account manager for specific accounts in the region; for example, Inter-American Development Bank, World Bank, Findeter, Autoridad para la Reconstrucción con Cambios, Autoridad del Canal de Panamá, while working together with our international business development teams to generate more sales in the Resilience sector (especially for Peru, Colombia, and the Caribbean area) - Contribute to our operational capacity as project director and/or domain specialist on Climate Resilience **Where you will work**: Royal HaskoningDHV (RHDHV) is a worldwide independent engineering, project management and consultancy firm which integrates 140 years of engineering expertise with digital technologies and software solutions. You will be part of the Resilience & Maritime Peru advisory group which is part of the Water and Maritime business line. The Resilience & Maritime Peru advisory group is the hub to cover the entire Latin American and Caribbean region. We work in most of these countries either directly or through a partnership with local companies. It is your task to coordinate and manage business development and projects with the staff at the Peruvian office, staff from the headquarters in Europe plus our global and local partners in various countries in the region. **What you bring**: Aside from your experience in business development and project management in climate resilience, we are looking for a colleague who has the following: **Experience** - 10 - 15 years’ experience with a proven track record in the following main market: climate resilience and climate adaptation projects (floods, droughts, coastal protection etc) - several of these years in a commercial role with a proven network with potential client and partners - proven project management capabilities - significant experience working within the region, experience in Colombia, Peru and/or Caribbean area is considered an advantage - significant experience within the IFI market (IADB, WB) understanding the organizational structure, strategic objectives, and way of working - proven experience in working with international teams (including English speaking teams) **Qualifications**: - minimum Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or other relevant degree - capable of reading, speaking, and writing in Spanish and the English language (additional Portuguese language skills are a pre) - willing to work full-time and willing to travel frequently within LATAM region **What we offer you**: We offer a working atmosphere in which team spirit and the development of the organization and employees are paramount.
