As a Director of Sales, you will lead our team in LatAm and provide strategic guidance for the development of the region with help of channel partners.
This position entails leadership responsibility for both sales and customer success team, including the plan to further expand the team according to the business needs.
**Responsibilities**:
- Creating a work environment that empowers your team to achieve their goals while providing them with feedback and coaching on their work
- Ensuring that high growth global goals are translated into regional context and developing sales strategies together with a team of junior and senior sales executives to expand Wingtra’s footprint in the market
- Supporting the team in developing plans how to break into and grow strategic target accounts
- Identify long term regional market trends, market opportunities and post-process customer learnings for Wingtra’s strategy development
- While most of your focus will be leading an effective team, occasionally getting hands-on by generating new distribution partnership leads, negotiate distribution agreements or close deals.
- Rolling out and implementing new processes to collaborate throughout the team
- Following up with your team to deliver on high data reliability in our CRM tools (Hubspot)
- Being a strong promoter of our product and brand on the target market
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience (10+ years) in B2B sales or equivalent business development experience
- Having lead a team of 5+ cross functional people in previous roles
- Strong network in and familiarity with cultures across the region of Latin America
- Experience providing solutions based on customer needs
- The ability to demonstrate a strong aptitude for both selling to target customers and at the same time building lasting relationships with distribution partners
- Persuasive, independent, at ease negotiating and developing trust
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Spanish
- Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
**Plus**:
- Fluent Portuguese language skills
- Local surveying background and expertise in Mining, Architectural Engineering and Construction (AEC) or surveying industry
- Experience in helping an international company with their go to market
- Building up cross functional teams that collaborate remotely with one another
