The Opportunity:
Your Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and maintain base systems and infrastructure.- Supports the team in technology deployment and services.- Arrange installations and upgrades in accordance with change policies.- Develop and maintain a comprehensive system configuration including appropriate documentation and support.- Install new releases, system updates and improvements.- Evaluate and install patches and resolve problems related to the servers used by the company.- Research new products and technologies that help or are involved in the company's initiatives.- Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimal performance levels- Conduct routine system audits.- Suggest and help implement policies and procedures related to data storage.- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.- Participate in the rotating shift system with other team members.
Qualifications:
- Solid intermediate to advanced English level.- Experience managing servers in a VMware, Linux environment.- Implementation and services management on AWS.- Servers and services deployment and configuration automation with tools like Ansible or Terraform.- Experience integrating technological solutions oriented to IT infrastructure services.- Proficiency with various storage design and management versions/platforms (SAN and NAS).- Experience installing, configuring, managing and supporting server and storage infrastructure equipment.- Proficiency implementing best practices for infrastructure optimization.- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM or similar Hypervisors.- Knowledge of servers, data storage systems, monitoring, alerts, synchronization and optimization, including specifications and documentation.- Know system security principles and practices.- Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform or related automation tools.
